Ibought this game in 2018, and have 25 hours on it, but I haven't completed a single lap. It has been 25 hours of trying to get it to work on my Logitech G920, with a Thrustmaster TH8A shifter. When I go through the set up, {except the buttons, but that's another story}, it seems to recognize it. Everything moves when turning the wheel,
Justproperly connect your PS4/PS5 controller > Link up with DS4Windows. Now, open the DS4Windows Settings menu > Enable the “Hide DS4 Controller” option. Yea it's not exactly as I described it. Actually I had to click the entry I was about to change, then click "cancel", which clears the current assignment, then clicked the entry again and selection of the desired wheel button was working.(Had to redo all my controller setup yesterday evening after accidentally overriding it with default settings Controllernot working in game. The game recognizes and detects the controller in the options menu, and moving its axes shows up on the animated graphic in the lower left corner. It is selected as the input method. But, the moment you enter i.e. practice and go into the car, it just stops receiveing all input from the gamepad.
Tomake it work in the race too, add another association and repeat the same steps except in "applcation path" you must point to "acs.exe" instead of "AssettoCorsa.exe". I downloaded from the official Autohotkey site and modified it to work in Assetto Corsa. It assigns my 360 gamepad's right stick to
MyXboX 360 Controller does not respond, when i test it in the setting the bars work but ingame the controller does not respond. Before the update and in other games the controller works perfect. Same issue here. I had this issue, try making sure that in the control scheme the option for xbox controller is selected, mine was defaulting to StartAC from big picture mode (click on the controller icon on the top right). Then you can customize your steam controller. Yes I know, but none of those settings seem to transfer to actual driving part of the game.
